Etsy Shop
Overview
BlueberryWitchShop is the brand name for my Etsy store on etsy and social media while BlueberryWitch is my brand name. In the first couple of months of opening my Etsy shop I’ve had over 50 sales and 30 five star reviews.
Creativity is a huge aspect in my life both in my professional career and personal life. My Etsy shop is a creative outlet where I create illustrations to sell. The sales I make directly fund my hobby to get better equipment and software.
Goals
Skill up my illustration skills and sell other products such as prints and notebooks.
Improve sales through Etsy analytics to understand which products are most popular.
Stay updated on Etsy’s changes to improve SEO and click rate.
Themed Stickers & Bookmarks
My love of stickers and books is ultimately what led me to selling these products. I feel a real sense of achievement when I make a sale and get positive reviews from customers.
From sales and reviews I get an understanding of which types of products sell best.

What’s Next?
- My main aim is to include more listings. From researching forums and Etsy’s own documentation, they recommend having a large number of listings available.
- Offer a bigger range of products. Currently I sell stickers and bookmarks however, I want to include more stationery based products such as notebooks, memo pads, etc.
- Staying up-to-date on changes from Etsy and postage requirements. Recently there has been a lot of changes regarding postage such as the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) in the EU and shipping tariffs.
Logo Design
Using my graphic design experience I came up with logo for my Etsy shop. I wanted the typeface to be the main focus with a small blueberry vector to complete the design. Below are some variations I designed when coming up with the logo.

Final Design
Ironically, this was the first design I came up with and the design that I chose in the end.

Blueberry Witch Facts
- BlueberryWitchShop opened on Etsy in June 2025.
- Each sticker and bookmark is handcrafted, from illustration to printing.
- The name BlueberryWitch comes from my love of blueberries and witch themes.
- Pigeon stickers are currently the most popular, with the various pigeon stickers being in most orders.
Etsy Stats
Using my skills from UX design, I’m able to gather the available Etsy stats for my shop to improve my listings and SEO. From these stats I can see which listings have the highest click rates and views.
Furthermore, I’m able to compare how many visits my shop gets from previous time periods.

Key Learnings
- I’ve been able to transfer my UX skills to my Etsy shop to better understand customer behaviour such as click rates, views and other stats.
- The product journey doesn’t stop at listing a product. How the customer receives the product, the packaging and postage all have an impact.
- Brand identity and consistency is very important, including things like: colours, typography, logo and so on. Despite this being just a hobby shop, I wanted to put in all the skills I have learned throughout my career into it.
